Microsoft Catalyst is a customer engagement journey to help organizations conceive and realize business transformation by taking customers through a series of curated phases: Inspire, Design, Empower, and Achieve. The Microsoft Catalyst Partner Presales Immersion course is designed to give you the skills you need to improve your customer engagements and increase sales opportunities by leveraging the Microsoft Catalyst approach. After you complete this training, you should be able to: Practice design thinking methodologies with customers. Incorporate business value into your sales motions. Apply Microsoft Catalyst in existing and new opportunities immediately.

In this module, you will be introduced to the Microsoft Catalyst program and the partner value.

IDEA Framework

Learn about the four phases of business transformation—Inspire, Design, Empower and Achieve.

IDEA Framework - inspire

In this module, you will learn about the Inspire phase which is about solution envisioning whereby the customer and Microsoft/Partner work together to imagine and define the future state of the business through a Design Led Thinking Envisioning Workshop.

IDEA Framework - Design: Business Value Assessment

In this module, you will learn about Design which is the second phase of the Microsoft Catalyst framework, that builds a compelling case for change by discussing business and technological impacts.

IDEA Framework - Design: Solution Assessment

In this module, learn how a Solution Assessment leverages the outputs from the Envisioning Workshop and the Business Value Assessment. This prepares you for the Solution Assessment Workshop.

IDEA Framework - Empower

in this module, you will learn about the Empower phase of Microsoft Catalyst that brings the organization’s vision to life through visual assets, solution demonstrations and immersive experiences that showcase the transformation vision and value.

IDEA Framework - Achieve

In this module, you will learn about the Achieve phase of Microsoft Catalyst that focuses on creating a deal crafted proposal which details how a customer can accomplish positive changes across their organization, achieve business objectives, and prepare for implementation to drive customer success.
